This means that you will no longer need to install core and plugin updates; our control panel offers you the options of switching on automated WordPress core and/or plugin updates. We will then install the updates for you and check your website; if anything doesn’t work properly, we will restore the back-up we’ve just made and inform you of what has happened.
We scan all websites on our platform daily for backdoors, malware, and other security risks. If you turn to us with a hacked website, or if you have been hacked in spite of all of our security measures, provided that you have the automated update feature turned on, we will clean up your website free of charge.
You receive a free DV SSL certificate from Let’s Encrypt for every website. An SSL certificate not only makes your website safer, but it also enables you to utilise HTTP/2. HTTP/2 results in faster loading time because it allows multiple assets to be loaded at the same time.
We will also help you with an EV SSL certificate or Wildcard certificate for multiple domains.
Move your website easy to our platform with the Savvii Migrate plugin.
Why does this benefit me?
Simply and quickly migrate your website to our servers using the Savvii WP Migrate plugin. The plugin will migrate everything and quickly configure your website on our platform, saving you time and hassle!
Don’t worry about your data – every night, we create a daily backup of all of your websites, which we save for 14 days off-site. Simply choose which part of your website you want to recover. You can choose to recover an entire website backup, or just the database, code files, or media folder.
Easily connect to your database via phpMyAdmin and manage your website files via sFTP, the secure version of FTP. If your website runs on a VPS package, you will also be able to connect directly with a database client.
Our staging feature allows you to easily modify your website without inconveniencing your visitors. For example, test the latest PHP version, install a new plugin, or change your website’s theme. If everything is working properly on your staging website, simply press the button to implement the changes in your live website.
HTTP/2 allows assets to be loaded simultaneously, meaning that your website will load faster compared to earlier versions of the protocol because visitors will retrieve all of the files for the website much faster.
This means that apart from the static pages on your website (via Varnish caching), you will also be able to cache objects, improving the loading time of these elements and the pages that they feature on. This is a very useful feature for making dynamic websites such as WooCommerce online shops even faster.
Having your own IP address allows you to control what is on the server, as opposed to a shared server that is shared with others. With your own IP address, you are not dependent on other people’s websites, preventing yourself from ending up on a blacklist due to other people’s mistakes.
Why does this benefit me?
We are at your service even on the weekends or after office hours. If you notice anything wrong with your server, just call the emergency support number – even in the middle of the night! Our experts will get to work on finding what’s wrong right away and solve the problem for you as soon as possible.
You will be able to work faster, by managing your websites via the command-line with SSH and WP-CLI. For example, deploy your websites with Capistrano, use composer, or run a search-and-replace on your database with WP-CLI.
We have optimised every element of our hosting stack for optimum speed and utilise a range of caching techniques, ensuring that 99% of all websites run faster on Savvii than on their former host, and are better able to absorb peak loads. Try it out yourself! If your website is not faster on Savvii, simply use our 30-day money-back guarantee!
Can you help me migrate my websites to Savvii?
Certainly. We developed our Savvii WP Migrate plugin especially to allow you to quickly and easily migrate your websites. This plugin copies the entire website and converts all of the necessary files and database fields at the mere press of a button. You can read more about the process here. If you like, we could even take care of the migration for you.
Are you available outside of office hours as well?
Of course! We think it is important to be available 24/7 for any clients that may require our assistance. That is why we have a separate emergency support phone number to allow you to contact us outside of office hours. Clients with a VPS can retrieve this special phone number via the Savvii control panel.
Can I create easy backups using Savvii?
Certainly! Go to the backups tab in the control panel to create a backup. Moreover, we create a new backup for you every night, and we also create backups for you whenever you merge your staging environment with your live website.
Can you take care of my email and domain needs as well?
No. We do one thing only and do it well, and that thing is WordPress hosting. There are many great email and domain registration solutions out there. However, we would be happy to help you get started with a few tips. To migrate your website to Savvii, you will not need to move your email and domain as well. The majority of our clients keep their current email and domain registration supplier.
How long will it take for me to be able to get started?
It will take barely any time at all! After you have ordered your package, we will immediately roll it out on the platform and supply it with an empty WordPress installation. You will then receive an email containing your login details for the wp-admin, sFTP, and database.
Is it possible for me to try out your hosting without being immediately tied down?
Yes, it is! Simply apply for a free 14-day trial period. We will then provide you with a fully functional package to allow you to see how well your website performs on our platform. The package is then terminated automatically after 14 days.
“Choosing for the dedicated WordPress hosting by Savvii has enabled us to assign all of our developers to clients work.”
